For us, sustainability is not just a word but a firm part of our lives.
We manufacture products with long service life, focusing on durability, functionality and consistent quality.
We adhere to a policy of equal rights and obligations. We create dignified and safe working conditions.
We implement zero-waste production methods and processes that minimise waste generation and increase production efficiency.
We collaborate on the development of regions in the economic, cultural, social and sporting spheres.
We see sustainability as a long-term commitment to be better in everything we do. That is why we have set ourselves voluntary targets that we systematically integrate into our decisions. These targets represent concrete steps towards an overall improvement of our environmental and social responsibility. The targets are set for a year-on-year comparison 2025/2030.
We will increase the share of circular materials used from 35 % to 40 %.
We will reduce CO2 emissions by 10 kt. By purchasing emission-free energy (in a volume of 50 %) we will reduce our carbon footprint and thus prevent CO2 emissions.
We will reduce subsurface water consumption by 28 %. By building a retention reservoir we will be able to use 20,000 m3 of rainwater and thus reduce the abstraction of subsurface water.

The basis for producing products in line with the principles of sustainability is our own research and development department. To successfully meet our sustainability goals we draw on the experience of our specialists and modern instrumentation.
Thanks to this we are able to develop compounds, design and verify constructions and adapt the properties of products to meet the requirements of the final application.
The result of our work is products with an emphasis on ecodesign and quality. We offer most of our waterproofing membranes as part of complete application systems, i.e. including auxiliary and accessory materials, with a recommended and verified application method. Thanks to this we can offer waterproofing solutions with long-term functionality and service life.

In our products we make maximum use of both internal technological waste and external recyclates, significantly reducing the consumption of primary raw materials. To process internal technological waste we use our own processing technologies (crushing, separation, regranulation), which we are continually expanding.
These technologies allow us to make maximum use of internal waste, including waste containing reinforcing materials such as PES and glass fibres. Our production of waterproofing membranes is therefore zero-waste. We also offer our customers the option of taking back offcuts and unused remnants from membrane installation. The material taken back this way is processed using our technology for reuse in new products.

The construction of products and their properties not only meet the requirements of relevant standards for physical-mechanical and other properties, but we also place great emphasis on the long service life of insulation membranes, which contributes significantly to reducing raw-material consumption.
We offer a complete system solution that can be tailored to the specific needs of a given project. This solution is economical and facilitates work in the design and execution of buildings.
FATRAFOL systems include practically all kinds of insulation membranes, including membranes for modern eco-friendly and energy-efficient buildings and membranes with environmental benefits:
