Adhesives
SOUDATHERM and FATRAFIX adhesives are part of the FATRAFOL-S systems. SOUDATHERM is used for permanent bonding of FATRAFOL membranes and thermal insulation boards to the substrate. FATRAFIX is mainly used for fixing membranes to vertical structures such as parapets and superstructures. It is also used for bonding membranes to wall structures, especially in the plinth area.

Technical specifications
Adhesives are supplied in disposable pressurised containers (canisters) and applied to the substrate by spraying or in strips. Polyurethane adhesives are intended for one-sided application on only one of the bonded surfaces. Contact adhesives must be applied to both bonded surfaces; immediate joint strength is achieved upon contact.
Polyurethane expanding adhesives SOUDATHERM are an integral part of the bonded FATRAFOL-S roof system. They ensure permanent fixing of FATRAFOL waterproofing membranes and thermal insulation boards to the substrate layer. In a bonded system this transfers the wind loads on the membrane covering through the individual bonded layers down to the load-bearing roof structure.
Solvent-based contact adhesives FATRAFIX are intended primarily as a supplement to the mechanically fastened FATRAFOL-S roof system for fixing FATRAFOL roofing membranes to vertical walls of parapets and superstructures. In the ground system they are used for bonding membranes to wall structures, particularly in the plinth area.
