Waterproofing membranes vs. asphalt bands (bitumen)

Asphalt bands (bitumen) joined by the process of welding are a classic waterproofing material. Relatively obsolete, the technology is gradually replaced with PVC or TPO waterproofing membranes. Benefits of using waterproofing membranes:
